What keeps me excited about therapy are those “aha moments” when something clicks for the first time. You are the expert in your life’s journey, and I feel privileged to walk beside you along the way. My greatest passions include providing services for grief, relational trauma, and adjustment to health conditions and significant life events.
I have specialty training in providing evidence-based and culturally salient interventions, especially with English-speaking Latinx patients. Through a culturally aware, strengths-based, and trauma-informed perspective, I strive to help you towards healing.
I believe that no one therapeutic approach works for all clients. With my background in third-wave behavioral therapies and person-centered approaches, I think I can honor your unique needs as an individual, family member, and member of your community.
Since entering the field of psychology in 2013, a vital focus of my work has been helping clients from diverse walks of life find their voices and take action toward their goals. Healing and growth take courageous vulnerability. I am committed to creating a caring and open space that respects your worldview and helps you along your journey.
After obtaining my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2017, I went on to earn my doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology in 2020. This training included an Internship at the University of Colorado Anschutz’s Department of Family Medicine and Salud Family Health Centers. My own journey led me to Colorado from the Boston area in 2015, and I fell in love with the mountains and wide-open spaces. Today I am grateful to continue enjoying the great outdoors as well as the music, visual arts, and theatre scene.
