I am clinical psychologist and post-doctoral fellow at the Metis Center for Psychological Services. I have had experience working with patients from diverse sociocultural backgrounds and across the lifespan. Most of my training, including my pre-doctoral internship with the University of Colorado, focused on Integrated Behavioral Health and Trauma-Informed Care in medical and community mental health settings.
As a therapist, I Identify myself with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy since it embraces value driven behaviors as a part of their model. My areas of interest include Mood, Trauma, and Substance Use Disorders. I provide bilingual (Spanish and English) psychological services.
On my time off I enjoy spending time with my partner and taking care of my cats (Pepper and Ginger).
