Jeff Bowling, PhD

Hi I’m Jeff and I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Metis Center. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults of diverse backgrounds who are experiencing significant stressors and difficulties in their lives. I utilize evidence-based techniques and interventions based in the tenets of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as other applicable clinical approaches to treat a wide array of symptoms and presenting concerns. I prioritize establishing a trusting, collaborative relationship with patients in order to provide efficient and effective treatment.

I received my BS from the University of Michigan and both my MA and PhD from the University of Northern Colorado where my research and dissertation focused on the link between problem gambling behaviors and personality traits. I completed my predoctoral internship at the Colorado Mental Health Hospital in Fort Logan, and have a broad range of experience working in both private and public agencies. I am originally from Detroit but now call Colorado home and love all that this beautiful state has to offer. I am a big sports fan and enjoy the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
